Aussie Blonde Hydration Purple Shampoo Review

By Glow Up Beauty Blog - October 31, 2020

I have had platinum blonde hair for almost 7 years now and I'm always looking for a new silver or purple shampoo in the market. When this Aussie Blonde range launched I was excited to try it out!

Aussie Blonde Hydration Purple Shampoo

BENEFITS

- Purple Shampoo for bleached, blonde and silver hair

 - For dry and dull hair in need of toning and hydration

- With Australian Hemp Seed & Wild Plum extracts

- A is for Aussie… for Australia… for Authentic Ingredients and Aussome Aussie Attitude

 - Aussie is proud to be a PETA certified cruelty-free brand

 - This beige bottle is recyclable (depending on facilities)

I love the look of the bottle and the fact that it easily recyclable, obviously recycled plastic bottles would have been better. The shampoo is fairly liquid and deep blue in colour. It has a nice scent, but I can't really pinpoint what it is exactly.

The shampoo promises toning and hydration and it really delivers both. Sometimes purple shampoos can be a bit drying, but this shampoo lathers amazingly feels good in the hair and leaves hair toned and feeling silky. I would definitely purchase this again and would recommend anyone with cool blonde hair to try this.

Overall Score: 5/5

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Blonde Deep Treatment

Benefits:
- Deep treatment hair conditioner for bleached, blonde and silver hair
- For dry and dull hair in need of nourishment and shine
 - With Australian Hemp Seed & Wild Plum extracts
- A is for Aussie… for Australia… for Authentic Ingredients and Aussome Aussie Attitude
- Aussie is proud to be a PETA certified cruelty-free brand
- This beige bottle is recyclable (depending on facilities)

I was really excited to try this 3-minute miracle deep hair treatment, but to be honest it was a bit of a led down. While my hair is pretty healthy even if bleached to the lightest platinum blonde, it still needs a good detangling conditioner or hair mask and this didn't reach the level I needed it to. It is no means bad, it smells nice, applies to the hair creamy, but for me in the end it didn't smooth out the ends too much. Also, the colour of the toning hair treatment mask is not really strong enough to tone anything so overall no miracle effect on my hair.

Overall Score 2/5
