Nude By Nature Mini Kit Review

By Glow Up Beauty Blog - January 25, 2021

Nude by Nature was created in 2008 in Sydney, Australia, born from a demand by a society that was becoming more and more conscious of their health, lifestyle and environmental choices. Starting with a capsule collection of just three mineral foundations, a bronzer, finishing veil and a make-up brush, Nude by Nature quickly became a household name. It’s the high performance of our products that leads to incredibly loyal customers. In Australia Nude by Nature continues to be the No. 1 Mineral Make-Up brand. - Nude by Nature Website

I picked this Complexion Essential Set at Tkmaxx for £9.99 as I had wanted to try the Nude by Nature formula for a long time. I knew that the colour N5 would be too dark for me, but I hoped that I suited my skin when I fake tanned.

The set contains:
Translucent Loose Finishing Powder
Radiant Loose Powder Foundation
Natural Glow Loose Bronzer
- Perfecting Concealer
- Perfecting Primer

NUDE BY NATURE - Radiant Loose Powder Foundation £25 for full size

The Radiant Loose Powder Foundation is perfect for day and night make-up looks, delivers sheer to full coverage with a satin radiant finish, and SPF 15. It’s also easy to apply and feels lightweight on the skin. The cruelty-free loose mineral powder foundation formula adapts naturally to skin tones, evens out complexion, covers redness and pigmentation, and conceals enlarged pores. - Boots website

Benefits:
- SPF 15 protection
- Enriched with skin-nourishing ingredients
- Non-drying formula
- Controls oil and shine

I'm not surprised to hear that this powder foundation has won a lot of different awards and is one of the best selling mineral foundations in Australia. It is super soft and blendable, it applies beautifully to the skin without being dry or cakey. While it is a loose powder it didn't go everywhere and it was easy to use. I'm tempted to pick up a powder foundation on my shade as this was so good. I also love that it contains skin-nourishing ingredients.

NUDE BY NATURE - Natural Glow Loose Bronzer £18 for full size

The highly pigmented, oil-free Natural Glow Loose Bronzer adapts naturally to skin tones, providing the perfect glow without the damaging effects of the sun. Composed of light-reflecting microparticles, this feather-light formula blends easily into the skin, allowing for a customised tan with an iridescent finish. The bronzer is composed of active natural ingredients including the native Australian Kakadu Plum, known for its abundant Vitamin C content; Jojoba Esters to nourish the skin and Kaolin Clay for a radiant flawless complexion. - Boots website

Benefits:
- Skin nourishing ingredients
- Neutral bronze shade to suit all skin tones
- Highly pigmented to customise colour
 - Easy to blend

Thes loose bronzer is beautiful and adds glow to your skin, I don't have anything bad to say about it. I just don't gravitate towards loose bronzers. For powders and foundations I'm moore than happy to play around with loose powder formulas but for bronzers I just don't reach for them at all.

NUDE BY NATURE - Translucent Loose Finishing Powder  £22 for full size

The velvety Translucent Loose Finishing Powder sets evenly over the skin, naturally extending make-up wear and is easy to apply. Its unique feather-light mineral powder formula helps control oil and shine, while disguising fine lines and wrinkles with its light-reflecting micro particles. The Translucent Loose Finishing Powder is composed of active natural ingredients including the native Australian Kakadu Plum, known for its abundant Vitamin C content; and Kaolin Clay for a radiant flawless complexion. - Boots website

Benefits:
- Enriched with skin nourishing ingredients
 - Disguises fine lines
- Non-drying formula
- Helps diffuse dark circles

This was definitely my favourite product from the whole set. It might be because I have never owned too many higher end powders and only a few loose ones, that this powder really made an impression on me. It super blurring, perfecting and creating a soft layer of perfection on top of your skin. It is non-drying and it really makes your skin to look better.  While I feel that it might not be the most long-lasting powder out there, and oil might push through some point during the day, this is a great powder for everyone who doesn't like heavy drying setting powders.

NUDE BY NATURE - PERFECTING PRIMER £22 for full size

Start your day with the best-selling silicone-free Perfecting Primer which smooths skin and creates an even, luminous base for make-up application, while helping to extend wear. The untinted formula of the Perfecting Primer blends seamlessly into the skin, to restore freshness and help fight visible signs of ageing, and to help disguise skin imperfections. - Boot's website

Benefits:
- Smooths skin without silicones
 - Enriched with moisturising ingredients
- Antioxidant-rich formula with Kakadu Plum & Green Tea
- Blends seamlessly into the skin
- Helps fight visible signs of ageing

While I love how this applied (creamy & hydrating) and the ingredients are great, I just couldn't get into the scent. It could be that the product was off already as I purchased it from TKmaxx but even with the scent not being the issue it just didn't wow me for the price tag. It is a nice creamy hydrating formula, it applies well but doesn't really do much more.

NUDE BY NATURE - PERFECTING CONCEALER £20 for full size

The Perfecting Concealer instantly covers dark circles, disguises puffiness, hyper-pigmentation and blemishes. Enriched with Australian native Kakadu Plum, Vitamin E, Jojoba and Shea Butter, the formula works to provide skin coverage while helping improve skin radiance. Available in 8 shades. - Boots website

- Doesn’t crease
- Moisturising ingredients
 - Blends seamlessly
- Disguises puffiness
- Fragrance-free
- Gentle on eyes

This concealer promises a lot but didn't really deliver all I wanted it to. The formula is nice, feels hydrating and applies well, the only issue I have is coverage. There is not really enough coverage for me to use it under my eyes on my dark circles and that is where I use concealer the most. Maybe someone who doesn't need too much coverage and prefers natural and hydrating concealers - this might be a good pick.
