Revlon Colorstay Crème EyeShadow 7,95 €

I'm a big fan of 'one-and-done' eyeshadows and usually, cream shadows are best for this purpose, so I picked up 3 Revlon Colorstay Crème Eye Shadows from Cloudie Kosmetik online store as they do free shipping on their orders!

What Revlon Colorstay eyeshadows' promises
  • Get ready to fall in love with our smooth, beautifully blendable cream eye shadows that are not only waterproof but they also last for up to 24 hours

  • We included a built-in eye shadow brush in the cap to make every application easy
  • Ophthalmologist-tested
  • Available in 18 shades, including 6 new shades with even bolder, richer color
How to use the Revlon Colorstay Creme Eyeshadows
  • For the sheerest wash of color, swipe on our cream eye shadow with a finger
  • To go bold, apply this long-lasting eye shadow with the included sponge-tip brush in the cap
  • Sweep it all over your lids, or concentrate the color at your lash line for a statement liner look

My thoughts on the formula

I was very pleasantly surprised by this formula - I feel like the current trend in the market is to have as much pigment as possible in one swipe and more subtle sophisticated products are treated as bad quality - this formula is something I have been looking for a long time - an eyeshadow product that is subtle but buildable. It gives you the option to add just a bit of colour with your fingertip or go bolder with a brush.

This formula feels super smooth almost wet like on the pan, and the littlest bit goes a long way. You will have these cream shadows forever as you do not need much.

The formula is super nice and you can use it two different ways - First as a base underneath powder eyeshadows or apply them just on their own to the eyelid for one and done eyeshadow look. The base layer technique will really enhance the color payoff of the powder eyeshadow and prolong the wear.

The colors

I picked up soft champagne beige shimmer Creme Brulee, light beige pink shimmer Praline, and sophisticated mossy green shimmer Pistachio and to my surprise my favorite is Pistachio. I usually never wear green eyeshadow as it doesn't compliment my skin tone, but this colour green is gorgeous.

Creme Brulee is a soft champagne shimmer that you can easily use as an inner corner highlight or all over the lid. It is not the most visible eyeshadow, but gives the eyes a more soft look, perfect for no makeup days or for people who do not like wearing makeup.

Praline is a light beige pink shimmer shade that like Creme Brulee Colourstay shadow is a very elegant and barely-there shade.

Pistachio is mossy green that is so elegant and silvery shade that it can be worn by many skin tones. It is a gorgeous neutral shade that asks for a smoky eye.

I really love these shadows and would definitely purchase more!

Overall 5/5
